Since 1983, the mission of the Christian Women’s Center
has been to provide refuge to women and their children.
We believe they can be restored to physical, emotional
and spiritual wholeness through the love of Christ.
He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. Psalm 91:4
The Christian Women’s Center provides a loving and accepting, temporary home in which the love of Christ can minister to the physical, emotional, spiritual and educational needs of women and their children. They may have been abused, abandoned, dependent on drugs, homeless, pregnant, or a victim of other circumstances which constitute a personal crisis.
The primary goal of the ministry is to restore the women to spiritual, emotional and physical wholeness and to demonstrate God’s love to them through the active involvement of the Body of Christ as it meets their special needs. Our desire is to enable them to make the best possible decisions for their future. We aim to emotionally support and spiritually comfort people who are in a crisis by providing support, understanding and sometimes companionship.
